The first fund did not result in an acquisition, as the transaction failed during due diligence. Instead, the founder and owner of Circle of Life, Pat Yager asked Himmat to join the firm and prepare it for a sale.
The transformation and success in 5 years was spectacular, even though the founder did not see all of it. Pat sadly passed away unexpectedly in 2018.
Pat’s legacy will live forever, and her people are thriving today. In under 5 years, the company grew 4 times, creating 3x of value for the stakeholders. Most importantly, the transformation was done by internal investments and with existing employees.
